Managed by a friendly host, the accommodation was clean and spacious, your ideal retreat after a long day of exploration. Equipped with a kitchenette, including cookware and an electric kettle, it provided a perfect opportunity to prepare meals, thereby reducing dining costs significantly, which is a thoughtful consideration for families. One feature that stood out was the outdoor dining area with a BBQ, where we grilled fresh cod while others relaxed around a fire pit. Laundry facilities, available for an additional fee, allowed us to travel light, which I appreciated given my penchant for history-laden sites. Located centrally, it allowed easy access to popular local attractions, like Richard's seafood restaurant, just a short drive away. With a flat-screen TV for cozy evenings and free Wi-Fi, the cottage felt like a home away from home.
